The LNU signed a Memorandum of Agreement with SSU and other institutions for the conduct of the online conference in October.

Under the MOA, SSU and LNU will host the 5th National Conference on Poverty Alleviation and Sustainable Development with the theme “Reinventing Resilience, Empowering Citizenry.”

Present in the MOA signing were the SUC presidents and representatives of Eastern Visayas State University, Eastern Samar State University, Northwest Samar State University, Southern Luzon State University, Biliran Province State University, University of Eastern Philippines and Pit-ao Elementary School.

LNU President Dr. Evelyn B. Aguirre said  that the event is “an excellent way of forging linkages and sharing expertise, and part of a long-term pursuit to end poverty in Eastern Visayas and the Philippines.”
