JRU DECLARES 2-DAY WELLNESS BREAK

/ 17 October 2021

THE JOSE  Rizal University will implement a two-day wellness break to help ease the burden of distance learning on its students.

The break will be on October 21 and 22.

Classes will resume on October 23, 2021.

JRU said that the break will give its constituents the opportunity to “relax, unwind, and re-energize.”

“During the break, submission of class requirements and activities by students are suspended,” JRU President Vicente Fabella said.

“During the wellness break, the University should still be able to address, on an emergency basis, urgent concerns of students and faculty… [Some] affected staff will have a separate break scheduled,” he added.

The Graduate School and the Law School are not covered by the break “due to the nature of their courses.”
