THE ISABELA State University joined partner agencies and institutions in Cagayan Valley as the Department of Science and Technology in Region II launched the Regional Inclusive Innovation Center.
The initiative, dubbed as “Sustaining Harvest through Innovation and Nurturing Enterprise” or SHINE Cagayan Valley, aims to expand research and development in reinforcing domestic enterprises.

Through this initiative, micro, small and medium enterprises will be given priority by having access to innovative resources from the academe and technology generators.
“ISU has been in the forefront of innovative technologies thru its R&D Centers, making it the science, technology, and innovation hub of Cagayan Valley,” the university said.
“These developed technologies are constantly being transferred to industries and technology adopters in translating research outputs to workable community solutions,” it added.
