FIRE RAZES TONDO SCHOOL

A FIRE of unknown origin gutted the Lopez Building of the Jose P. Laurel High School in Tondo, Manila on Sunday, October 31.
The Bureau of Fire Protection reported that the fire reached first alarm at 5:29 p.m. and was raised to second alarm at 5:32 p.m. It was put out at 6:04 p.m.
No one was hurt in the incident.
The fire started on the third floor of the three-story building. Damage to property was pegged at P500,000.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
