STUDENTS of the Far Eastern University won a bronze medal in the Philippine Culinary Cup of the World Food Expo 2023.

BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management students Hyeonsuk Lee and Ed Catama impressed international judges who in turn imparted their knowledge about food and standards in the industry.

Chef Ayie Reyes served as their coach.

The other members of the FEU contingent were Chef Richard Tabuena, Chef Michael Cabangon, and HRM Department Chair Chef Jan Racky Masa.

Tabuena competed in the US Beef Category, Cabangon in the US Pork Category and Masa in the Pasta Category.

The Philippine Culinary Cup is the most prestigious culinary competition in the Philippines.

It takes on an even bigger role in providing Filipino chefs an internationally-recognized platform to hone their skills and showcase their talents.
