STUDENTS from Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) and Asian Development Foundation College (ADFC) have been awarded the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES).

According to EVSU, a total of 131 students benefited from the TES. Each student received ₱10,000, bringing the total grant for the 2nd Semester of School Year 2023-2024 to ₱1,910,000.

In his remarks, Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chairperson Popoy De Vera III reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring that higher education remains accessible to all Filipino students.

The TES aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students facing financial challenges. It covers tuition, miscellaneous fees, and other school-related expenses, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder students from completing their education.
