DLSU PROF AMONG FINALISTS IN ASIA-PACIFIC TRIPLE E AWARD
A PROFESSOR from the De La Salle University was among the finalists of the Asia-Pacific Triple E Awards in Higher Education.
Dr. Norby Salonga of the Lasallian Social Enterprise for Economic Development Center was nominated for Entrepreneurial Leader of the Year category.
The award is bestowed upon an individual who has shown exemplary leadership in enhancing the entrepreneurial profile of an academic institution or its specific units, be they academic or support-oriented.
Salonga was named Entrepreneurship Educator of the Year last year in Barcelona, Spain.
He was also a top 5 finalist of the Engagement Leader of the Year in the 2020 edition in Kochi, India.
The Triple E Awards are a global recognition of efforts toward the quest for entrepreneurship and engagement in higher education. It is the first award to focus specifically on different dimensions of the universities’ third mission.
