DLSU-D PROFESSOR HONORED WITH DAKILANG KRIMINOLOGO AWARD
A FACULTY member from De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, Dr. Alrien Francisco-Dausan, has been honored with the prestigious Dakilang Kriminologo Award.
Dr. Dausan received the accolade personally during the 1st Philippine Criminology Profession Week and 28th PCAP Convention at Okada Manila.
In her acceptance speech, Dr. Dausan expressed her gratitude to the awarding committee, led by PCAP President Gerry Cano, as well as to her mentors, students, and the Philippine Criminology community.
“This honor inspires me to continue advocating for excellence in criminology education and to use academia as a tool for social change,” she shared.
A strong advocate for bridging theory and practice in criminology, Dr. Dausan is dedicated to preparing students to be skilled professionals and compassionate, socially responsible individuals.
The Dakilang Kriminologo Award, established in honor of Justice Felix Angelo Bautista, is given to individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to criminology and show unwavering commitment to justice.
Dr. Dausan looks forward to advancing her work in criminology education, collaborating with peers, and furthering the field toward greater social justice and meaningful reform.
