DLSU-D PARTNERS WITH CAVITE RESEARCH PROGRAM
DE LA SALLE University-Dasmariñas has formalized its collaboration with the Cavite Development Research Program to advance academic research and promote the preservation of Cavite’s rich heritage.
Brother President Sockie De la Rosa FSC signed a memorandum of agreement alongside representatives from the Cavite Development Research Program, Museo de La Salle, and the University Research Office.
Present at the signing ceremony were Vice Provost for Research Dr. Johnny Ching, Museo de La Salle Director Mary Ann Salvador, and the research team led by Dr. Jan Phillip Mallari, Director of the Cavite Studies Center.
“This initiative aligns with the Cultural Heritage Foundation Inc.’s mission to support research focused on Cavite,” said MDLS Director Salvador.
The research team, composed of Daniel Anciano, Angelo Aguinaldo, and Rosanni Sarile, will focus on topics such as Cavite’s strategic location, trade significance, religious influence, and architectural evolution.
Felice Sta. Maria, MDLS Board Trustee, will serve as the project evaluator, ensuring the study’s cultural relevance and alignment with MDLS’s vision.
