DLSU-D LCDC HONORED AS MOST OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEER BY DSWD
THE Lasallian Community Development Center (LCDC) of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) was recognized during the Panata Ko sa Bayan Awards.
The center was awarded the Most Outstanding Volunteer in DSWD Residential Care and Facilities for the Year 2024.
The award was presented during the 74th anniversary celebration of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), held in Parañaque City.
Representing DLSU-D, Mr. Jose Ritche Bongcaron, Chief Lasallian Mission Officer; Dr. Socorro Grace Red, LCDC Director; and Rona Serrano, LCDC Faculty, formally accepted the prestigious recognition.
The Panata Ko sa Bayan Awards honor individuals and organizations that have significantly contributed to social welfare and development initiatives in partnership with DSWD.
“This recognition underscores the LCDC’s dedication to fostering positive change through impactful and sustainable community outreach initiatives that align with DSWD’s vision of promoting holistic social welfare,” the university stated.
