CVSU STUDENT KILLED IN ACCIDENT
A STUDENT from the Cavite State University was killed while four others were wounded in a vehicular accident in Indang, Cavite on Monday morning.
CvSU confirmed the news and said that the victims are Biology students at the university.
“The painful incident claimed the life of one student and injured four other students. We would like to assure the public that the University is providing the victims and their families with necessary assistance,” CvSU said in a statement.
“Furthermore, we encourage everyone to refrain from sharing and posting unverified information and photos that may cause secondary trauma,” it added.
A report by DZBB Super Radyo said that the students were reading books inside the campus when a driverless elf truck hit them.
The truck was used for water delivery to the university. The report added that the driver forgot to engage the handbrake causing the truck to roll down the slope.
The driver is currently in police custody.
