THE CEBU Technological University-Carmen campus awarded P100,000 to its graduate who topped the licensure examination for elementary education.

Maricris Quingco Colipano was handed the cash reward after bagging first place in the examinations held in March 2022.

Colipano got 92.40 percent passing rate, besting other examinees from the Davao Central College, Talisay City College, and Mati Doctors College, among others.

Aside from the cash reward, she also received incentives from CTU President Rosein Ancheta and a Certificate of Excellence from the university.

The topotcher was also given a position at the CTU faculty roster as a non-teaching personnel in the College of Education.

Other officials welcomed Colipano and expressed hope that she will pursue her master’s degree at the university.
