NINE courses of the San Mateo Municipal College has been given a certificate of program compliance by the Commission on Higher Education.

A report from the municipality of San Mateo’s Facebook page said that CHED recognized the quality of education in SMMC.

These programs are Accountancy, Office Administration, Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Psychology, Accounting Information System, English Language Studies, Marketing, and Finance.

San Mateo Mayor Cristina Diaz said that she aims to add more CHED-recognized courses in SMMC.

The school has more than 5,000 students.

“Patuloy po nating itataguyod ang kalidad ng edukasyon ng ating mga kabataan. Basta Batang San Mateo, Edukado!” Diaz said on her Facebook page.
