CATANDUANES STATE U TO GIVE TABLETS TO DESERVING STUDENTS

/ 23 July 2021

TO HELP its students cope with distance learning, the Catanduanes State University will distribute tablets to 100 poor learners.

CatSU said on Thursday that an anonymous donor heeded the call for donation of CatSU President Patrick Alain T. Azanza and provided the remaining number of needed tablets.

Azanza earlier appealed for donation for the students who have no gadgets to use for their education.

“The Office of the President today received 66 more tablets from an anonymous donor. It is the completion of 100 tablets that was promised from a private sector for the deserving students of the University that has no learning gadgets to be able to continue their studies online due to the pandemic,” CatSU said on Facebook.

“It can be remembered that the President has called upon the private sector, that has interests in the University, to donate or help the needy students of CatSU,” it added.

The donated tablets are powerful devices with specifications of 6 gigabytes of RAM and 128GB internal storage.
