CAPIZ STATE U CLARIFIES ‘HAIR POLICY’

/ 18 October 2022

THE CAPIZ State University clarified that it has no hair policy that bans students from entering its premises.

This came after a report by Radio Bandera said that some LGBTIA+ students were told that they need to tie their hair when inside the university.

The Iloilo Pride Team added that some students said they tried to enter the university and were advised to “dress up”.

The university said it contacted the group and explained that no such policy exists.
