THE PRESIDENT of the Benguet State University showed his support to the Plant, Plant, Plant program of the Department of Agriculture by holding a tree-planting activity immediately after assuming his post.

The school said Dr. Felipe Comila requested the planting of fruit bearing trees.

The tree-planting event was held right after the turn-over ceremonies and thanksgiving for the university presidency. The activity was held at the campus grounds.

“It is to show support and solidarity with the Department of Agriculture that has supported the university more so now with Secretary Dar’s leadership. BSU reaffirms its support to the wisdom of the PPP program,” it added.

Comilla was formally instated as the 7th BSU president on December 9, 2020.
