MANILA UNVEILS SIX-STOREY SCHOOL BUILDING WITH 68 AIR-CONDITIONED CLASSROOMS
MANILA is showcasing its investment in modern public school facilities with a new six-storey building at Aurora A. Quezon Elementary School, featuring 68 fully air-conditioned classrooms.
Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso shared a glimpse of the new school building in a social media post, highlighting the city government’s commitment to providing public school students with modern, comfortable, and well-equipped learning environments comparable to those in private schools.
“Gusto natin, kahit sa pampublikong paaralan nag-aaral, maranasan din ng mga bata ang moderno, maayos, at komportableng pasilidad,” Domagoso said.
The mayor stressed that access to quality educational facilities should not depend on a family’s financial capacity, emphasizing the need to provide public school students with a conducive environment for learning and development.
He said the city government aims to ensure that children enrolled in public schools can benefit from facilities that support their academic performance, comfort, and overall well-being.
Domagoso also underscored the importance of promoting equal educational opportunities for all students, regardless of their socioeconomic background.
Through investments in school infrastructure, the Manila city government seeks to improve the public education experience and provide students with learning facilities that meet modern standards.
