235 EXAMINEES PASS 2026 SHARI’AH BAR

A TOTAL of 235 examinees passed the 2026 Shari’ah Special Bar Examinations, yielding a passing rate of 29.52 percent, Supreme Court Associate Justice Henri Jean Paul Inting, Chairperson of the 2026 SSBE, announced.

The Supreme Court said the oath-taking and roll-signing ceremonies for the successful examinees will be held on July 16, 2026, at The Manila Hotel.

Ahmad Nuska Bato and Van Regine Lim Perlas topped the 2026 SSBE, both earning an overall rating of 89.15 percent.

A total of 1,055 applicants registered for the examinations. Of these, 799 examinees took the first day of exams, while 796 completed the second day, reflecting a completion rate of 99.62 percent.

The Supreme Court also announced that Associate Justice Jose Midas P. Marquez will chair the 2027 SSBE.
