MSU-IIT TOPS PHYSICAL SCIENCES IN 2026 TIMES HIGHER EDUCATION SUBJECT RANKINGS
THE MINDANAO State University–Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) has been ranked as the top university in the Philippines for Physical Sciences in the 2026 Times Higher Education Subject Rankings, reaffirming its national leadership in the field.
The latest rankings highlight MSU-IIT’s consistent excellence, reinforcing its position as a premier institution for physical sciences education and research in the country.
Among Philippine universities, MSU-IIT placed first in Teaching, underscoring the strength of its academic environment and the quality of learning it provides students.
The University also ranked second nationwide in Research Quality, Industry Metrics, International Outlook, and Research Environment, reflecting strong performance across all major evaluation indicators used by THE.
Globally, MSU-IIT landed in the 1001–1250 bracket alongside Mapúa University, while the University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, and De La Salle University were placed in the 1251+ bracket.
