PASIG CITY, ATENEO SEAL PARTNERSHIP FOR DIGITAL MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM
THE PASIG City Government and the Institute of Philippine Culture of Ateneo de Manila University formalized a renewed partnership to strengthen digital mental health services through the signing of a memorandum of understanding.
The agreement supports Pasig City’s Electronic Mental Health Program Registry for Universal Health Care project, funded by the Department of Science and Technology–Philippine Council for Health Research and Development.
Ateneo President Fr. Roberto C. Yap, SJ, and Pasig City Mayor Victor Ma. Regis N. Sotto served as the principal signatories, with national health, research, and diplomatic officials present as witnesses.
The project aims to develop and pilot an electronic recording and reporting system for mental, neurological, and substance abuse programs, which will be integrated into Pasig City’s existing digital health platform.
City and university officials said the initiative will enhance policy development, data-driven decision-making, and privacy-protected management of health information related to mental health services.
The partnership brings together local government, academia, national agencies, and international partners in advancing a more inclusive, technology-enabled healthcare system for Pasigueños.
