/ 20 December 2025

THE NATIONAL Police Commission has announced the official results of the PNP Entrance and Promotional Examinations held on October 19, 2025, across 38 examination centers nationwide.
Out of 44,309 examinees, 17,403 passed the examinations, posting an overall passing rate of 39.28 percent.
Of this total, 14,438 civilian examinees passed the PNP Entrance Examination, making them eligible to apply for appointment as Patrolman or Patrolwoman, provided they meet the prescribed requirements under Section 14 of Republic Act No. 8551.
Meanwhile, 2,965 in-service police officers passed the Promotional Examinations and are now qualified for promotion to higher ranks within the PNP.
NAPOLCOM Chief Commissioner Ralph Calinisan underscored that the PNP examinations serve as a critical safeguard of integrity and professionalism in the police service.
He added that genuine police reform begins with discipline and accountability at the point of entry and promotion.
The complete list of successful examinees is available on the NAPOLCOM website. Certificates of Eligibility for passers and Reports of Rating for non-passers will be sent by mail.
NAPOLCOM reaffirmed that these examinations remain a cornerstone of police reform, ensuring that recruitment and promotion within the PNP are guided by merit, competence, and professionalism, in pursuit of “isang pulisya na matatag sa prinsipyo, mahusay sa serbisyo, at makatao sa tungkulin.”
