SENATORS HONOR EDUCATORS ON WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY
SENATORS paid tribute to educators across the country in celebration of World Teachers’ Day 2025, recognizing their dedication, sacrifices, and vital role in shaping the nation’s future.
Senator JV Ejercito lauded teachers for their selflessness and passion, describing teaching as not just a profession but a vocation.
“Our teachers go above and beyond their duties, even spending their own money for classroom materials,” Ejercito said.
“It’s time for the government to repay them with proper support and adequate compensation they rightfully deserve,” he added.
Senator Joel Villanueva, the son of former teachers, also expressed his gratitude, saying he has witnessed firsthand the hardships and perseverance of Filipino educators.
“As the child of former teachers, I’ve seen the sacrifices and dedication of our educators in uplifting the quality of education in our country,” Villanueva said.
“Happy World Teachers’ Day to our brave and hardworking second parents. God bless you all!”
Meanwhile, Senator Sherwin Gatchalian expressed appreciation to teachers who continue to serve as guides and sources of inspiration for students nationwide.
Senate President Juan Miguel ‘Migz’ Zubiri also joined the celebration of Teachers’ Month, thanking educators for their unwavering service.
“A big THANK YOU to all our teachers who tirelessly teach, shape, and guide our children toward becoming patriotic, humane, and responsible Filipinos,” Zubiri said. “You are truly our heroes!”
