AN ASSISTANT professor from the University of Santo Tomas was honored at the 2024 Broadway World Philippines Awards, the school announced on Tuesday.

Daniel Bartolome, from the UST Conservatory of Music, won Best Music Direction and Orchestra Performance for his exceptional work on Once on This Island, a production by 9 Works Theatrical.

The Broadway World Philippines Awards recognize outstanding regional productions and touring shows staged between October 1, 2023, and September 30, 2024. The awards, which covered over 100 cities across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, celebrate the best in theater performance and creative achievement.
