CATANDUANES State University distributed cash aid amounting P7,500 each to the first batch of the beneficiaries of Tulong Dunong Program (TDP-SUC) last Thursday (November 30).

The cash aid was given to 171 students of the school, in cooperation with Senator Loren Legarda and was made possible through the initiative of CatSU President Patrick Alain Azanza.

Azanza said that it is important to maintain a healthy communication with various institutions and personalities to secure enough support for the whole community of CatSU and its students.

Meanwhile, the president also reiterated the non-academic pursuit and the mandate of the university to expand its scope outside the classrooms through the project Padagos na Patanos Program.

The second batch of beneficiaries will receive their assigned cash aid on December 4.
