UNIVERSITY OF CORDILLERAS STUDENT INNOVATORS WIN REGIONAL STARTUP TILT
STUDENT innovators from the University of Cordilleras secured the top spot in the Cordillera Administrative Region Philippine Start-Up Competition 8 Regional Pitching last October 13.
Team Enigma, composed of Carl Justin Masedman, Ryzel Felizco and Synne Navalta garnered 84.8% for their innovative project called “Para Po.”
The jeepney-centric mobile navigation application will enable users to search for jeepney terminals, view routes and access other public transportation information.
“The product aims to address the issues people encounter when commuting in a few clicks,” the Department of Information and Communications Technology -CAR said.
Team Enigma will represent CAR in the national competition.
Meanwhile, two other teams from the university — PresQRx and Lamedh were the 3rd and 4th runners-up, respectively.
