SINGAPORE TO SUPPORT USJ-R NURSING STUDENTS
QUALIFIED nursing students of the University of San Jose Recoletos in Cebu City can study with financial support and enjoy a promising career through the support of the Singaporean government.
The USJ-R signed a memorandum of agreement with Kilsa Global and Talent Angels recently to implement the International Nurses Onboarding Program.
The grant is primarily meant for incoming third year or fourth year nursing students under the School of Allied Medical Sciences.
“Kilsa will facilitate the screening of applicants who are qualified to avail of the scholarship which is funded by Singapore’s Ministry of Health after formal endorsement from the School of Allied Medical Sciences – Nursing Department and Scholarship Center of the University of San Jose-Recoletos,” the school said.
“Select scholars must take the nursing licensure exam and serve for four years in Singapore after graduation,” it added.
Kilsa Philippines Managing Partner Charles Lim, meanwhile, said that he is excited for the project because USJ-R is the first school which will benefit from this project.
Aside from the study aid, he shared that they can help facilitate more partnerships between USJ-R and Singapore.
