TWO schools will represent the country in the Asia Choral Grand Prix — St. Paul College Pasig and University of Mindanao.

The SPCP High School Chorale was the grand champion in the equal voices category in the Andrea O. Veneracion International Choral Festival 2023.

Meanwhile, UM Chorale won the Best Interpretation of the Contest Piece award and was declared the grand champion in the mixed choir category.

Sheila Marie B. Fetalvero and Timothy Paul P. Atencio served as the conductors for SPCP and UM, respectively.

The Andrea O. Veneracion International Choral Festival 2023 is presented by the Cultural Center of the Philippines and the Philippine Madrigal Singers.

The 2nd Asia Choral Grand Prix will be held in Bali, Indonesia from July 24 – 26, 2023.

It is a competition among champions of the four international choral festivals in the region – Andrea O. Veneracion International Choral Festival, Bali International Choir Festival, Malaysian Choral Eisteddfod and the Singapore International Choral Festival.
