TWO graduates of the University of San Carlos in Cebu City were among the top 10 passers of the Architect Licensure Examination given this month.

Architects Marynelle Charisse Bays and Janrea Cuyos got a score of 83.90% to share the fifth spot.

They led the 94 examinees from USC who passed the board examination.

The school got an overall passing rate of 72.66%, higher than the 61.12% national average.

The PRC said 2,924 out of 4,784 examinees passed the test held in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Angel Altejar, also an alumna of USC, placed fifth in the January 2023 ALE.
