THE EXECUTIVE Director of the Pangasinan State University Bayambang campus was recognized as Asia’s Outstanding School Administrator during the Asia’s Golden Icon Awards.

Dr. Ian Evangelista, also the chief administrative officer of PSU, said that along with the award was the “challenge to always do better.”

“I take this not as an award per se but a challenge. A challenge to always be better in what I do, and I can do better if I have people like you with me. I am always grateful to God and to people like you who want nothing but the best for PSU,” he said.

AGIA honors individuals and companies that have made a significant impact in the community or demonstrated excellence in their field.

Also awarded were Senators Robinhood Padilla, Sherwin Gatchalian, JV Ejercito, Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia, Quirino Governor Dakila Cua and MLhuiller founder and Chairman Michel Lhuiller, General Carlito Gaces, Lt. Gen. Romeo Brawner, Jr., Mayor Michael Rama, Interior and Local Government Secretary Benjamin Abalos, Jr. and Rep. Sonny Lagon.
