THE UNIVERSIDAD de Zamboanga kicked off its Basic Life Support Training Course that teaches students Basic First Aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques that will be useful during emergencies.

The program was implemented through the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences and in partnership with Southwestern Action For Emergencies – Emergency Medical Services.

The school also conducted career guidance orientation in the province of Sulu to help students decide what career path to take.

Among the schools visited were Notre Dame of Jolo College Senior High School, Sulu College of Technology Senior High School, and Mindanao State University Senior High School.

The team reached out to Grade 12 students, informing them of the university’s courses, its facilities, as well as the latest trends on career opportunities and industry-based demand and enrollment requirements.
