FEU SUSPENDS FRESHMEN ADMISSION TEST DUE TO TROPICAL STORM PAENG
FAR Eastern University suspended its College Admission Test (FEUCAT) due to the onslaught of Severe Tropical Storm Paeng.
In a Facebook post, FEU Admissions said the exams will be moved on November 5.
The same time will be followed at 8:00 am for the morning session and 1:00 pm for the afternoon session, it said.
Meanwhile, the conduct of the Ateneo College Entrance Test this weekend will push through despite the bad weather.
For those who are unable to take the exam, Ateneo said they will be advised thru their emails for further instructions.
“The Saturday, 29 October 2022, PM Session of the ACET will push through for those who are already on campus. For those who are unable to make it due to the effects of severe tropical storm Paeng, the OAA will reschedule you to the January ACET and will send out emails about the next steps that the applicant will need to take,” the ADMU said.
On Saturday, the National Risk Reduction and Management Council said at least 45 people were reported dead amid floods and landslides brought by Paeng.
The NDRRMC added there are at least 31 reported missing and 14 injured due to the storm.
Moreover, Paeng affected 49,767 families or 184,161 persons in 336 barangays.
Out of the affected population, 2,615 families or 9,737 persons are taking temporary shelter inside evacuation centers while 625 or 2,400 persons are outside evacuation centers as of Saturday.
