DEPED TO FREE TEACHERS OF ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS
THE DEPARTMENT of Education plans to remove administrative tasks from teachers to allow them to focus on teaching.
Michael Poa said.
“To complement, we will perhaps have to hire non-teaching staff to handle those things,” he added.
The Teachers’ Diginity Coalition welcomed the plan of DepEd and thanked Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio as hiring more non-teaching school personnel is part of their 13-Point Teachers’ Dignity Agenda.
Basas noted that President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. promised to free teachers from administrative duties during the campaign.
The TDC also batted for the hiring of more medical personnel and guidance counselors.
