THE GUIMARAS State University warned the public against illegal solicitations from persons pretending to be connected to the university.

GSU said that the public should be wary of people claiming to be its president, Dr. Lilan Diana Parreño, getting money to help the university.

The university said that the GSU does not permit solicitations on behalf of the university.

“Any natural or juridical person dealing with the same shall do so at their own risk and responsibility,” the university said in a statement.

“[GSU] shall not tolerate or be responsible for the unlawful transactions in any manner,” it added.
