SORSOGON STATE U GETS APPROVAL FOR 10-YEAR DEV’T PLAN
THE COMMISSION on Higher Education has approved the 10-year infrastructure development plan of the Sorsogon State University.
The plan covers four campuses.
It will be implemented from 2022 to 2031, and will incorporate “structures and other land improvements to bring economic and social advancement and progress,” SorSU said.
The plan is in line with Republic Act 11396 or Land Use Development and Infrastructure Plan, which gives SorSU’s Sorsogon City, Bulan, Castilla and Magallanes campuses a makeover.
The university showed the prospective projects on Facebook, from the re-designed gates, new buildings for the colleges, integration of bike lanes and fields and athletic grandstands for sports activities.
It said that the project was well-prepared and underwent extensive study, assessment, projection and validation.
