THE IFUGAO State University received a P12-million grant from the Commission on Higher Education to help with its Information and Communication Technologies project.

The grant was approved by CHED’s Institutional Development and Innovation Grants in early February.

IFSU said that the project, “Unified Learning Environment: Enhancing IFSU-LMS and Infrastructure,” will help with the implementation of distance learning and operations of the university.

This is through polished and user-friendly learning management systems and establishing a strong bandwidth across the IFSU university system.

“All faculty members and students will be given access to the enhanced IFSU-LMS and its online facilities for a smooth, excellent yet inexpensive virtual learning experience,” IFSU said.

The P12.7 million project is one of the two Smart Campus Development programs of the university.
