NUEVA VIZCAYA STATE U LOCKS DOWN CAMPUSES
THE NUEVA Vizcaya State University closed its campuses until the 18th following a spike in Covid19 cases among its employees.
The Office of the University President said that the decision was made in line with the recommendation of its Task Force Against Covid19.
The campus closure aims to curb the further spread of the new coronavirus.
The university advised its employees who tested positive for Covid19 to follow the protocols laid down by the Department of Health.
Returning employees will be required to present the result of a rapid antigen test and a quarantine certification.
Unvaccinated employees also have to submit antigen test results every 24 to 48 hours starting January 19.
NVSU also asked its eligible employees to get booster shots as added protection against the virus.
