THE DEPARTMENT of Information and Communications Technology has installed free WiFi in four campuses of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Laguna province.

Free WiFi for All access points were installed in PUP campuses in Biñan, San Pedro, Calauan and Santa Rosa.

Teachers and students use the free internet for their online classes, research, skills development, and self-paced online learning.

The setting up of wifi spots is in line with DICT’s program to improve connectivity nationwide.

“Making sure that no one is left behind, DICT will continue to provide free internet connectivity for every Filipino,” the agency said.

The department has installed and activated Free Wi-Fi for All sites in different state universities and colleges, public hospitals and Covid19 isolation facilities in the region.
