Pokemon is making a true open-world transition soon. The gaming company is said to release its Pokemon Scarlet and Violet ‘later this year’. Nintendo hasn’t confirmed any specific dates yet. Comparing it to the release dates of previous pokemon mainline games such as Sword/Shield, Pokemon X and Y, the game will probably be released between October and November this year. The game is designed to be played on a Nintendo Switch.

Expanding on the grounds built by Pokemon Legends: Arceus last January, fans will experience an entirely new region inspired by Spain and the Mediterranean with beyond-border exploration. This is the most awaited open-world experience that pokemon fans had been waiting for.
Nintendo has given us an unprecedented glimpse at the three starters that you’ll be able to pick at the beginning of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Specifically, you’ll be offered the choice of Sprigatito (Grass type), Fuecoco (Fire type), and Quaxly (Water Type).

The game is already up for pre-order and is available on Amazon. Note that as of writing, there were no pre-order benefits announced yet, according to fan theories it’s likely that the news will be released soon.
