The NCAA women’s volleyball tournament Season 97 will finally return today after two years of inaction with defending champion Arellano University's fourth straight title on the line.

/ 11 June 2022

Two heavyweight matches will spark the opening day with Arellano facing Mapua University and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde against San Beda University.

Rival schools Arellano and Benilde are expected to spice up this year’s season as they have ruled the league for the past five seasons.

However, Arellano will have to double the effort now that the Season 94 MVP Necole Abuen, outside hitter Regine Arocha, and middle blocker Mikaela Juanich are no longer with the team.

The tournament will have a single-round robin elimination in which the top four teams will advance to the semis and the first and second seeds will be armed with a twice-to-beat edge before making it to the best-of-three finals.

NCAA games will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays which will be live on Gtv.

While NCAA doors are open to the fans who want to watch provided that they will follow all health and safety protocols and present their vaccination cards.
