The volleybelle from Colegio de San Juan de Letran clocked 57 seconds in the volleyball course, edging out Emilio Aguinaldo College’s Yvonne Reyes, who tallied 1:17 and finished second.

In order to complete the volleyball relay challenge, the player must shoot three balls into the basket located inside the court.

The challenger will then proceed to the service line to perform a serve, and must hit the target on the opposite side of the court.

“Masaya po kasi ngayon lang ako ulit nakahawak ng bola after ng injury ko. Thank you NCAA sa chance na magsama-sama kami uli,” said Lopez.

Lopez and Reyes outlasted Cherry Mae Quizon of San Beda University and Kimberly Gabito of Arellano University in the semifinals to advance to the next round.
