“We shot really well, especially in the second half,” said FEU head coach Olsen Racela.

It was Bryan Sajonia who shined the best after pouring an all time high points of 27, four rebounds, two assists, and one steal to easily cap off the half of the game.

With such a feat, the Tamaraws ended UST’s journey in UAAP  Season 84 and will have to hope for a National University (NU) loss to secure a Final Four berth.

A total of four players from the FEU squad contributed double digits while only three players on the UST side made it hard for the team to retaliate in the third frame to end with 27 points gap.

Horns of the Tamaraws vs the Fangs of Tigers were tested as Rj Abarrientos helped Sajonia inside the court with his 11 points followed by Royce Alforque and LJay Gonzales 10 markers apiece and stopped Nic Cabañero from releasing more shots, 109-65.

The Growling Tigers will have to take a rest for now and hibernate to be basketball-ready for the next season.

While Tamaraws has now set their minds as coach Racel affirmed. “Our mindset now is we need one more win to enter the Final Four.”
