San-en NeoPhoenix's shooting guard and Filipino baller Thirdy Ravena unveiled on his Instagram account that his hand injury operation was successful yesterday.

Ravena sustained the injury in his right hand and was diagnosed with an oblique fracture in the fourth finger last Saturday against Shibuya under the elimination round.

The Ateneo standout left the court aggrieved in the 3rd quarter of the game with 5:30 minutes left on the shot clock.

As such, the outside shooter was left with no choice but to officially withdraw from the B.League All-Star Game and Slam Dunk Contest, replaced by Mikawa’s Takuya Kawamura.

Nonetheless, last Monday, Ravena posted on his account that together with the help of his doctors, he will be returning to the court as soon as they can.

“…with the help of my ever-supportive teammates and our hardworking team staff at San-En, I am fully focused on getting back and making sure I return fitter and stronger than ever,” Ravena shared.

“I’ll be taking this time to realign, and refocus so that I can give you the best version of myself the next time on the court,” he concluded.

Ravena is anticipated to be released approximately from 4 to 6 weeks and unleashed his skills once again where he averaged 8.8 points, 3.67 rebounds, and 1.58 assists a game.

Currently, the Phoenix-squad is sitting on the 5-22 win-loss standing.
