It was an elusive win for Blackwater, who had not won since October of last year as they gained their 25th loss while Terrafirma halted their losing skid to move to 2-4.

Even though Bossing had a chance against Terrafirma, it was in vain as Dyip recovered a 12-0 deficit in the fourth quarter with a 25-7 surge spearheaded by import Antonio Hester.

Hester’s 41 points paired with Joshua Munzon’s 13 points who also led the Dyip ignite an 18-0 run to steal the win and took a 102-96 lead.

Other players of Dyip delivered an equally good performance as Andreas Cahilig scored 17 points and 10 rebounds.

The Blackwater players did not give up either, as seen by Glover’s 35 points and 17 rebounds as well as Suerte’s 16 points.

Still, just like Terrafirma coach Johnedel Cardel said, the Dyip took advantage of the fact that they still had time to turn the tables and steal the win.

The scores:

Terrafirma 109 – Hester 41, Cahilig 17, Munzon 13, Tiongson 12, Ramos 9, Calvo 6, Daquioag 5, Batiller 4, Camson 2, Go 0, Pascual 0.
