PNVF TO SEND NATIONAL TEAMS IN PAGUDPUD BUBBLE FOR TRAINING CAMP
The Philippine men’s and women’s national team volleyball team is now ready to stage their Ilocos bubble in preparation for the upcoming tournaments.
“President Tats Suzara, bumisita po sa amin sa Saud, Pagudpud. And he’s planning to send the indoor volleyball teams here on June 15—both the men’s and the women’s,” Provincial governor Matthew Manotoc of Ilocos said in the session powered by SMART.
He also shared that President Suzara is clearly eyeing June 15 as a date to send the force for initial indoors training in Norte.
“He (Suzara) is planning to send the indoor volleyball teams here on June 15, both the men’s and the women’s. Nagpapasalamat po kami kay President at board member Charo Soriano, who is a friend. And kay [PSC] chairman Butch Ramirez and Marc Velasco, tumutulong sila sa amin. We are very thankful,” Manotoc affirmed.
The teams are preparing for their upcoming competitions in Asian Volleyball Confederation Continental Cup happening from August 29 to September 5 in Pampanga while the men’s category is from September 12 to 19 in Chiba, Japan.
Meanwhile, the PVL stage is still in action as Manotoc expressed that they are in the process of ‘exploring pa lang.’
“Medyo maaga pa po, but we’re looking kung kaya po natin in terms of the numbers, especially if we can host them.”
