PAAT, NAKHON RATCHASIMA STILL WINLESS AFTER BOWING DOWN TO KHONKAEN STAR
Mylene Paat and Nakhon Ratchasima remain winless in the 2021-22 Volleyball Thailand League season after yielding to Khonkaen Star, 26-24, 21-25, 21-25, 20-25, Thursday at MCC Hall The Mall Bang Kapi.
Khonkaen started slow at the first frame but Nakhon Ratchasima failed to take the opportunity as the former dominated the next three for an early 2-0 lead in the 2021-22 season.
The Adamson standout, Paat delivered a strong start after smashing four of the last five points for Nakhon in the first set.
Despite the loss, Paat’s offense and defense were still remarkable in the same way she performed against Diamond Food last December 8.
Paat delivered the winning point with a backrow attack which led the team to take the win in the first set.
However, the team failed to maintain the momentum as Hathairat Jarat and Pattiya Juangjan of Khonkaen pounded Ratchasima.
Khonkaen never let Paat and Rakhon recover as the former stole the remaining three sets and sustained its all-win, 2-0 record in the season.
Meanwhile, Nakhon remained winless and will try its luck again in a battle against Nakhon Non (1-0) on December 29.
