During the hybrid meeting, the committee members agreed to endorse a resolution to congratulate and commend the winners who are also members of the Pilipino Obstacle Sports Foundation for plenary discussions.

The resolution was filed by Laguna 2nd District Rep. Ruth Mariano Hernandez.

Filipino racers Elias Tabac and Sandi Abahan bagged gold medals, while Tolitz Divina and Seannah Gutang earned silver medals.

The race was held last September at Tanzania, Africa.

Filipino racers conquered Africa’s highest peak Mount Kilimanjaro, also known as one of the Seven Summits and the world’s tallest free-standing mountain.

The challenge is recorded as the highest altitude fitness class in the Guinness Book of World Records.
