With the early face-off of the two much-anticipated teams, it will rekindle former collegiate rivals Alyssa Valdez of Creamline and Mika Reyes of the Realtors facing off against each other at 7 p.m. for the last game of the day. 

All systems go for the PVL to play its elimination games at the PCV Socio-Civic and Cultural Center in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte six days a week, with Thursday as a rest day, and will follow a single round-robin format.

The first game of the day will highlight a battle between ex-Philippine Superliga squads, Chery Tiggo and PLDT, followed by Nicole Tiamzon-led Perlas Spikers and debuting Rachel Anne Daquis-bannered Cignal HD Spikers at 4 p.m.

On July 18, Sunday, the other four squads will raise the curtain following a match-up between Petro Gazz Angels facing the Philippine Army Lady Troopers at 3 p.m. and BaliPure Purest Water Defenders battling Choco Mucho Flying Titans at 6 p.m.

All games will be conducted every day from July 17 to August 2 except Thursday as a rest day, according to the initial schedule.

A total of 10 teams will be competing for the top four teams slot that will advance to the best-of-three semifinals with the top seed facing the fourth-ranked squad while the second will go against the third-ranked squad.
