distributed online kits to students to help them in distance learning.

Over 200 senior high school and college students received the kits which contain a study table top, earphones, flash drive, notebook, ballpen, highlighter and correction tape.

SK Chairman Rochelle Ann Valdez said that it is the SK’s responsibility to help students especially in these trying times.

“Because of the pandemic we are facing right now, challenge na ‘yung finances ng parents and even us, we are also a member of affected families at bilang SK responsibilidad po naming i-safeguard ang future ng future nation builders,” she said.

She added that the SK wants to ensure that students will have access to quality education even during the pandemic.

“We have to make sure we guided them to have equitable access to quality education,” Valdez said.

She said that despite the SK’s limited funds, it was able to maximize and source out funds to continue the project.
