RED CROSS HELPS REPAIR SCHOOL IN QUEZON
PHILIPPINE Red Cross Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Richard Gordon said that PRC’s disaster management staff will help restore Burdeos National High School in Quezon which was badly damaged by Super Typhoon Karding.
PRC staff and volunteers delivered 150 CGI sheets and 10 plain sheets to the school on October 3, which the residents immediately installed.
“The education of our youth must not be allowed to wait because of any delay in the restoration of school facilities, especially in isolated areas in islands facing the Pacific Ocean,” Gordon said.
School officials led by the principal thanked PRC for its help.
