A POLICE officer in Paracelis, Mountain Province who volunteered his own car to deliver supplies and modules to a public school earned praises from Philippine National Police chief Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar.

On July 12, teachers from Mulliang Elementary School in Barangay Anonat asked personnel of the Paracelis Municipal Police Station for help in bringing supplies to their school because they had no means to transport them.

Police Executive Master Sergeant Franco Ramos volunteered, knowing that the municipal police mobile unit will not be able to cross the river on the way to the elementary school.

Ramos had also previously helped deliver modules for teachers and students.

“Si Police Executive Master Sergeant Franco Ramos ang dapat tularan ng iba pa sa ating hanay. Wala siyang pag-aatubili sa pagbibigay ng serbisyo at tulong sa kapwa,” Eleazar said.

“Ganito dapat ang bawat pulis, pinapairal ang tunay na malasakit sa kapwa at walang pinipiling pagkakataon o paraan para tumugon sa tawag ng serbisyo,” he added.
